.Silver Jeans.

"Can you wear jeans to work?"
A typical question I'm asked by fellow bloggers. My answer is usually:
"No- my boss wears a suit every day to work, so I have to dress accordingly".
"Not even on Fridays?"
"Nope, not even on Fridays."

So when  Silver Jeans Co. contacted me about a pair of denim, I jumped on the opportunity. I WILL find the time and the place to wrap my legs in a pair of crispy denim. Remember Silver Jeans? Every girl at my high school had a pair, and to this day the brand has remained synonymous with quality designer denim accessible to all.

I had the pleasure of previewing the Aiko Mid Slims  and took them for a night out at Longman & Eagle to celebrate the release of The Collective Quarterly's Issue Ø, the magazine's inaugural publication. Curated by a group of sartorial writers and makers (Seth Putnam, Jesse Lenz, and Jay Gullion), the magazine takes its readers on an adventure through Marfa, Texas, visualizing the artistic and artisinal practices of local creative minds.

The event was an ideal escape for a Tuesday night, and my jeans were the best outfitter. The Aiko Mid Slims are soft to the touch and well constructed around the curves. The color is a perfect fade of dark blue and goes well with other denim, if you're attempting to pull off that 'all denim' look. I cuffed mine (see below) to give my #ootn extra edge and show off my Schutz. I love everything about these jeans: soft, durable, and edgy.

Silver Jeans Co. opens their first Chicago loft location at Woodfield Mall April 12th - be sure to join me at the event and check them out! You can also find my Aiko's and the rest of the collection at Nordstrom, Macy's, and other boutiques across the country.
